VIETNAMESE AS A SECOND LANGUAGE (VSL)

Registration for our VSL 2024-2025 class is now closed!

Basic conversational and grammar lessons for every day usage at home or around town. The class is designed for beginners, ages 18 and above, with little to no knowledge of the language. The focus will be on speaking and listening. Reading and writing will also be covered. Classes are taught by native speakers of Vietnamese and are online via Zoom.

Online Beginner Vietnamese as a Second Language (VSL) Class


Tuition

Early Bird Special is $120 until August 4th! After that date, it will increase to $150. Tuition covers both semesters and includes lesson handouts. A link to purchase the textbook will provided during the registration process. 


2024-2025 Session

  • Fall Session Dates: Tuesday, September 3, 2024 to Saturday, December 7, 2024

  • Spring Session Dates: Tuesday, January 7, 2025 to Saturday, April 5, 2025

  • Class Time: Every Tuesday evening from 7:00 - 9:00 PM CT

  • Optional Practice Session: Every Thursday evening from 7:00 - 8:00 PM CT

  • All Online Via Zoom (students will need internet access)

  • Please note that the last class date of each semester is on a Saturday morning (December 7th and April 5th), not a Tuesday evening
